President Daniel Thorpe

Few organizations are lucky to have a leader as dedicated as Dan Thorpe. Starting the company 12+ years ago with just two employees, Dan has always had a passion for helping others solve problems—no matter how complex. And this desire to help others isn’t limited to his staff and clients. Fun fact about Dan? If he could, he would foster 100 dogs!

vice President anne Thorpe

Our trusty Vice President, Anne Thorpe brings a fervor and drive to the Thorpe Landscapes team that inspires excellence across the entire organization. But her skills aren’t limited to leadership and landscaping. She’s also got an impressive knack for slalom skiing and a special hidden talent for impersonation. Her Batman impression once won 1st place at the Indiana County Fair!

ASHeville Director of operations Ethan saxton

A true asset to the Thorpe team since he started with us back in 2018, Ethan Saxton oversees the day-to-day operations of our Asheville, North Carolina location. With a background in horticulture, Ethan’s expertise in all things plants and top-tier management skills have served the team and our clients well over the years.

WILMINGTON DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS Brian Bagot

With a whopping TWENTY years of experience in logistics and operations, we couldn’t have found a better man to serve as our Wilmington Director of Operations. Ensuring our Wilmington branch exceeds customer expectations, this Annandale, Virginia native is a true master in the landscaping industry. Oh, and he’s also a semi-amateur racecar driver!

WILMINGTON DIRECTOR OF ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT Daniel Massie

One of those guys who gives his all in everything he does, Daniel Massie has only ever had THREE jobs in 22 years of work. And he’s spent the last 16+ years fine-tuning his skills in the landscaping industry. Outside of work, you’ll find Daniel fishing, camping, or otherwise enjoying the great outdoors. In fact, he was the Casting Kid National Champion in 1997.

WILMINGTON DIRECTOR OF ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT Jeff Hinson

A master of landscaping, Jeff Hinson brings 15 years of experience to the team. A true family man, he and his wife of over 30 years have two grown sons, a pit-husky mix named Stella, and a cat named Meowza. When Jeff’s not going the extra mile for our customers, he’s playing saxophone and singing with his band, North Tower

Landscape designer Micah Peterson

A genuine Wilmington native, Micah Peterson is one of few locals with family roots in the area dating back over 100 years. Time Magazine’s official “Person of the Year” in 2006, Micah’s unrivaled dedication to excellence in North Carolina landscape design is only matched by his deep love for his spouse and three terrific children.

Senior project manager timothy hill

You wouldn’t believe it if you met him, but before he started with Thorpe Landscapes, Timothy Hill hadn’t touched the landscaping industry with a ten-foot pole! Prior to joining the Thorpe team as project manager, he spent four years in the Marines and worked relentlessly for the Rocky Mountain Fire Department. Talk about a man with dedication!

Bookkeeper Georgette Ahneman

Although she might not have inherited her Great Uncle’s psychic powers, Georgette Ahneman sure has a magical way about her when it comes to organizing and managing the books at Thorpe Landscapes. Hailing to us from Kansas City, Missouri, Georgette is a devoted Chiefs fan and grandmother to three.

PROJECT ESTIMATOR & PROJECT MANAGER Dani lopez

Born and raised in central Massachusetts, Dani Lopez moved to Wilmington in 2019 to pursue her career in construction. When she’s not helping make the world a greener place at Thorpe Landscapes, you’ll find Dani painting Bob Ross-inspired mountain landscapes or relishing nature with her two pups, Bee and Teddie.

DIRECTOR OF MARKETING ryan brown

Coming to us all the way from Texas, Ryan Brown plays a critical role in maintaining our company’s stellar reputation in Wilmington, Asheville, and beyond. A few fun facts about our marketing maven: He has a twin sister. And he was once bitten by a squirrel! (Luckily, his job keeps him out of prime squirrel territory MOST of the time.)
